Trial Session
A trial can be arranged so that parents can see first hand how the program runs and how their child responds to the structure and activities offered.
All families are entitled to one trial. This is limited to one session only. Trial sessions need to be booked at least one week in advance, with enrolment forms completed and submitted on the day of the session. Trial sessions are subject to availability. A casual rate applies. This must be paid via direct deposit prior to the trial date. If after the trial session a parent requests to enrol their child into the program, term fees are payable within two working days. This is a no obligation trial.
Attendance, fees and absences
Children must arrive on time for their session and be collected on time. As sessions will begin promptly, it is asked that children arrive 5 minutes before the start of each session. A late fee of $10 will apply for every 10 minutes a parent/guardian is late to collect their child.
Payment must be made a term in advance.
All fees are to be paid via direct deposit.
A $10 late fee will incur for invoices paid after the due date.
A child may only attend Learning Buds once payment is made and enrolment forms are complete.
Public holidays are not charged. Term fees will be set accordingly.
No reimbursements will be given if a child is sick and does not attend a session. The teacher will keep any program worksheets and activities for that missed session, which are available upon request. Unfortunately, no make up sessions will be offered.
If it is known in advance that a child will be absent (i.e. holiday), fees will be deducted from that term's balance. This only applies prior to term fees being paid. A holding fee will apply. *
No refunds can be made once payment is received.
If a parent/guardian chooses to cancel their child's enrolment, a written letter/email is required before the commencement of the following term.
It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure Learning Buds has their current email address.
Session Information
Parents must ensure that their child has been to the bathroom before the session begins. However, if a child does need to use the bathroom during a session, then the teacher will arrange this.
As session times are relatively short, no snack or food is required. Children can however bring a clearly labelled drink bottle (water only).
During Terms 1 and 4 (the warmer months), all children are required to bring along a sun hat in the event that we utilise the outdoor space for learning.
During Terms 2 and 3 (the cooler months), a warm coat and hat is required.
Learning Buds will provide all stationary supplies. Children are asked to bring along their learning journals and satchels each session, which will be provided during the first session.
